Daily Program Activities

Based on the 33-Day Preparation for Total Consecration to the Immaculate according to St. Maximilian Kolbe, as presented in the booklet Preparation for Total Consecration to the Immaculate according to St. Maximilian Kolbe by Fr. Matthias M. Sasko (Academy of the Immaculate, 2023 edition), is a concise, day-by-day devotional guide written primarily in Kolbe’s own words and spirit (along with complementary quotes from other saints whose Mariology he embraced). The booklet is intentionally short (≈90 pages) and practical for busy lives, with each day featuring:

A brief reading (often ½–1 page of Kolbe’s writings, Scripture snippets, or saint quotes),
Short daily prayers (typically two fixed prayers + Kolbe’s renewal formula),
A focus on progressive themes of knowing Mary, belonging to her, and living as her instrument.

Unlike the longer, more structured themes in St. Louis de Montfort’s method, Kolbe’s preparation does not divide into rigid weeks (e.g., no “knowledge of self / world / Mary”). Instead, it flows progressively toward total entrustment, emphasizing Mary as Immaculata Mediatrix, and the one who forms Christ in us.

Program Overview
• Begin daily preparation on March 23, 2026 (33 days of short readings, prayers, meditations, and optional videos)
• Conclude with the full-day retreat “Living Your Marian Consecration” on April 25, 2026, at St. Ignatius Church, Tokyo
• Led by Fr. Elias Mary Mills, F.I. (Franciscans of the Immaculate), who will guide reflections, lead the Act of Consecration, and impart a solemn blessing
• Opportunity to enroll in the Militia of the Immaculata Mediatrix (MIM)

The special 33-day spiritual preparation program leading to Total Consecration to the Immaculate according to the spirituality of St. Maximilian Kolbe will conclude with a powerful one-day retreat titled “Living Your Marian Consecration” on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Tokyo (Kōjimachi / Yotsuya district).

The program invites participants to entrust themselves completely to the Immaculate Heart of Mary over 33 days, beginning March 23, 2026. This journey draws deeply from Kolbe’s writings, Franciscan Marian tradition, the messages of Our Lady of Akita, and the heroic witness of Japanese Catholic history—including the Hidden Christians and Kolbe’s own mission in Nagasaki.

One Day Retreat – April 25 2026
During the one-day retreat, “Living Your Marian Consecration”, led by Fr. Elias Mary Mills, all participants can receive a consecration blessing after they have completed the 33 Consecration to the Immaculate. The one-day retreat will held at St. Ignatius Church, Tokyo on April 25th, 2026, in Kibe Hall, Room 305.The day will include:

• Guided reflections on living the consecration daily
• Recitation of St. Maximilian Kolbe’s Act of Total Consecration
• A solemn blessing by Fr. Elias Mary Mills, F.I.
• Enrollment opportunities in the Mission of the Immaculate Mediatrix (MIM)
• Time for prayer, adoration, Confession, and community fellowship
• People can also participate via Zoom

Special Gift for Participants
All registered participants (on a first-come, first-served basis) will receive three complimentary books during the April 25 retreat:

These resources will help participants continue living their consecration long after the program ends, drawing from Kolbe’s heroic love for Mary, the approved apparitions of Our Lady of Akita, and the faithful witness of Japanese Catholic history.

1日リトリート – 2026年4月25日
エリアス・メアリー・ミルズ神父による1日リトリートでは、参加者全員が「無原罪の御母への33日間の奉献」を完了した後、奉献の祝福を受けることができます。この1日リトリートは、2026年4月25日、東京の聖イグナチオ教会内、キベホール305号室にて開催されます。

最終日となる2026年4月25日には、参加者はエリアス・メアリー・ミルズ神父（F.I.）が指導する1日リトリート「マリアへの奉献を生きる」に参加します。当日のプログラムは以下の通りです：

• 日々の奉献生活を実践するためのガイド付き黙想
